The rules are as follows....
The contest will begin on April 11th.........
Players must sign in this thread that they are in, by Sunday, April 10th at noon, est......No more entries will be taken after that point.......
There is a 100-post minimum to be eligible to enter, and anyone posting from duplicate ip addresses, will be disqualified...
Lines will be posted the night before, and all plays must be in 10 minutes before the first game is scheduled to be played...NO EXCEPTIONS
For purposes of the contest, all plays will be "action" whatever pitcher goes, u still get the same line....would be too difficult to try and adjust lines, know if people want the team , etc....we are making this as easy as possible, if u take the yanks with Johnson listed one day, and he doesnt pitch, thats bad luck, if u take the other team, its good luck...hopefully if it happens, it will balance out....but its the best way for the contest....
There will be (1) play per day, based on 1 unit......Each "monthly" cutoff, there is a minimum of 25 plays needed to qualify.....so missing a day or 2 will not eliminate you....

After the plays of May 14th, the top 30, will move on to play from May 15th until June 14th.....after the plays of June 14th, the top 15 will move on to play June 15th - July 14th....after the games of July 14th, the top 5 will move on to play July 15.....then after the games of July 21st, the bottom person will be eliminated, and so on till August 12th, when the 2nd place person will be eliminated.......At each designated cutoff, the players moving on will all start over on equal footing....therefore finding the best "overall" capper who is "consistant" not just someone who gets off to fast/hot start........
The champion, and the remaining top 5 will be awarded prizes at this year's 3rd Annual RX Bash.....
The grand Champion will receive 1000.00, courtesy of the RX Ownership & Shrink.....
2nd place 500.00
3rd place 300.00
4th place 150.00
5th place 50.00
Youa re still eligible to enter if you are not going to the bash, however, the prizes wont be awarded until we get back from the bash, and issued by check i would assume, if you require a different way of getting your winnings the poster would be responsible for the fees......The fun will be awarding the winners at the bash......
The lines will be posted in the CONTEST forum the night before, therefore dont forget to post your plays....We will be using Pinny's lines, and we will allow runlines, moneylines, and over/unders.......there will be no parlays, no alt runlines, no 5 inning lines, and no props.......
Any other questions, please ask here, and sign up as you are ready....i will keep a running list of who enters, we will cap this off at the first 100 posters should we need to.......that will help with the grading...
